Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of the Tweet in which Musk preened: "I'm up for a cage match if he is" — with text apparently from Zuckerberg over it that read: "Send Me Location" on his Instagram story on Wednesday.

Musk initially posed the challenge over reports that the Meta CEO may be launching a text-based Twitter rival called "Threads."

In a Tweet posted on Tuesday, Musk initially said: "I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options.”

Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, recently won his first event in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a hobby he said he picked up during the pandemic.

He posted video of a training session on his Instagram over the weekend and said that he was “starting to prepare for our MMA debuts” with a winking emoji.
